i downloaded sa2 for dc and there are 36 files like 001, 002, 003 and so on. and when i burn it it doesn't play not even with a boot disk.

those are .rar files. you need to compile them into the complete image before you burn it. first, install a program called WinRAR. then click the Sonic file that ends in .rar. now you can extract the iso image to your desktop. it will probably be a .cdi file, so you would need to install DiscJuggler in order to burn it correctly.

there is a specific procedure for burning disc images. you can't just throw these files on a CD and expect it to play on a console.

None of the files end in rar. They are all 00? example e-sonic2.001. did u try it b4?

ok i found the file but it wont extract. it says insert volume oo2 something?

some gay dude made it so when u play sa2 it show an annoying techno beat. how do i get rid of it so its like a normal beat? i mean the game is fine but the begining is just ;) disturbing.

what do you mean? they changed the music in the game, or they tagged it with an extra title screen + music?

You are an idiot. The dreamcast was the best system ever made and you pirates (hardy har har) are responsibe for the continual downfall of it. Just go to gamers and buy it for $10.

i have a simlilar question. i downloaded a zip file of virtual tennis and when i unzipped it i got around12file that end with numbers and there is no file with .rar. is the file not good? I'm new to this stuff so take it easy on me.

Ok u figured. Yes they tagged it. i have the original. and im not an ass***le. i bet u wouldn't say it in my face. an yes..... the Dreamcast was a great system .R.I.P.

the continual downfall? are you crazy? they stopped making it a year and a half ago. there's nowhere left for it to fall, from where it is now.

and for the record, i own as many dreamcast games as i ever owned for any previous system i bought (NES, Genesis, Playstation). i didn't kill Dreamcast, Sony killed it. just like they're going to eventually kill either the Xbox or Gamecube. if you look at what happened all through the 80s and 90s, you see that the market just can't support three consoles. there are always precisely two successful ones, and the other ones die.
