Over here in the US (or more specifically, Indiana) they're most commonly called farts.

However, there are some other... more colorful names that are used as well Tootin
Cuttin the cheez (sorry WeeMouse)
Butt Raspberries
Beepin
Breaking wind (of course)
Playin the butt trumpet
Pootin
Makin boom boom
and Speakin out of turn
