X3: The Reunion

I've been looking for a good space sim game, for, man, like 8 years and I've heard good things about X3. Does anybody have any comments on that game, or have other recommendations?

Definitely worth a try,
Lost couple of weeks with it. Just make sure to patch it with latest patch because unpatched version isn’t much optimized and there are lots of bugs.

Game is really complex and sometimes you have a felling you’re playing MMO. Also be try fun made modes, because there are lots of good ones….

I used X³ All In One Bonus Package which can be download from their website. It has a nice collection of mods and should make your gaming more enjoyable as it removes some minor frustrations...

Tried looking for some simular game but nothing comes close
