Either someone who had a bad experience from a dodgy(-er than usual) warez site, or a warez novice who&#39;s never been to one <_<

All warez files are available to download at your own risk, but on the sites I frequent, I&#39;ve not found a single one dodgy yet so far. Still, you&#39;d be stupid not to scan any file you download for viruses and/or trojans beforehand.

There&#39;s a load you can use, but I&#39;d recommend you try to find some yourself. Reason - Warez sites are not the kind of things you&#39;d ask anyone to recommend for obvious reasons ;) You&#39;ll find it better to judge sites based on what you find yourself rather than being pointed to them.

sure, and what are your "frequent visited sites"? Its common knowledge that about 97% of them are hacker modified. Most files are not viruses, but have been hacker modified so that your anti-virus doesnt pick it up(norton 2003 couldnt) and connect to their computers(like a backdoor)-sometimes they pretend to be the multiplayer of the game you downloaded.

All of them I frequent in that order, and not a single one I have so far has been dodgy so far.

I have no idea which sites you visited to make that assumption <_< The only thing I&#39;ve seen is sites trying to install sex toolbars, etc - And I already have my browser & firewall set to not allow anything from them sites without me knowing.

Now to return the question - Why not tell us which sites have you found that has what you say? <_< I mean, it would be perfect for a blacklist to warn other members about them should they want to use them.

i only use wares sites for cracks or cd gens but now i want it for games and applications since i&#39;ve been getting no sources from k-lite downloads and someone gave me a wares site and it worked pretty good even tho i prefer the full verison w/ videos

The only warez sites I&#39;ve seen are ones that are nothing but voting for their site and ending up with nothing. Your best bet is p2p.

There are alot of WareZ sites i visit every day,these are good sites with good files that are updated daily.

As someone already said,just look for your own on google.

Yep - IMO They&#39;re scum. Same with Emulation sites - They&#39;ll all supply the emulators, but when it comes to ROMs they just go straight to another f***ing Top 100.

But if you search any of those I mentioned above on Google, they will have d/ls on them. I wish I could give the URL, but I like to keep in check with forum rules which state that direct links to warez sites are forbidden :(

For IE, &#39;Tools&#39; menu, &#39;Internet Options&#39;, &#39;Security&#39; tab, &#39;custom&#39; - Set the ActiveX & Plug-in sections to Prompt. Alternatively, you could set the Security tab to &#39;Medium&#39; and I think it does the same anyway :)

As for other firewalls & browsers, I can&#39;t really say because I don&#39;t know

Most have dialers, crappy votins junk, loads of pop-ups and porn etc.. Most actually mislead you to think they have full games but they don&#39;t, just a trick to get you to vote.
