Just gotta say Big Thanks ;) to those people encoding new movies/torrents into VCD ready mpeg's....shit do u know how much time u are savin' people like myself with shit-slow PC's..no need to encode the movies for around 12hours before i can burn em to VCD (its all been done)...I salute you..Keep up the good work... :lol: :lol: Nothing like a bit of praise from time to time!! ;)

im exactly the opposite it onyl takes me 1 hour to encode my movies.

also 56k users there bigger files pain in the ass ;)

dude i agree with this thread. getting the copies in svcd format right off the wire
is kick ass. as for the 56kers they still release the divx version so
shadup ;P
honestly i feel no pity for ppl still on 56k. they need to upgrade.
i hear the flintstones use dsl. whats wrong with the rest of ya.

oh ya i forgot some ppl cant get high speed internet where they live.
man that sucks. if your country isnt 3rd world you should have access to high

DSL has 2.5 mile distance limit (for now) from the CO.
Cable is easier and generally faster. Usually if you can get digital cable TV you can get cable broadband.
T1 is too expensive
ISDN is too slow and expensive

Well i prefer to encode them myself You do not know what the quality is of the encode (VCD, or SVCd) or what bitrate it is done at.

Well, u r welcome I always put mine in vcd ready format I do it for myself really but I still share with others. But the only ones I do are DvD Screeners and Rips
