How Do You Use Cd Cracks?

Hi,
Anyway, I just downloaded a game for the first time but it needs a cd crack, which I have. My question is, how do I use it? Is it something I have to run, or replace a file in the game?

ok unzip the nocd crack, right click it and choose CUT, now goto the directory where the game is installed e.g c:\program files\EA\battlefield 1942 and then right click in the folder and choose paste, it should ask if you want to replace somthing, choose yes..thats it your game should now work with no cd
