I know of about 5 people that have all had there accounts pruned through not accessing for about 2 days.

It seems they have been doing some clearing up of inactive accounts. I think to stop account trading.

Eh, whatever. :/ I signed up because it was open because of all the hype here and after looking around, I have no need/interest in the tracker. I'm sure many others did the same as me.

Same thing happened to me. I didn't login in for about 3 days or so. I signed up, due to the hype,and cause i originally got invited on the day they closed their invitation system back in early November 2007. I won't fret about it though, someone who will actually use and like the tracker, will take my spot(Which I prefer happen anyways).

Yea you have to download or have something seeded. Just logging in, doesn't constitute rightful "tracker activity". Pisexy just wasn't the place for me.

But I agree with you. Pisexy is not the problem. If you don't like the rules, don't bother with the site or even mention it. I think it was smart to auto prune accounts, to get people who just signed up to sign up. Whether it was for the hype or any other bullshit.

My post was directed to the OP. Most of those who post in this thread complained that they got disabled; only you (grimms) from the very beginning stated that you will most likely let your account be autopruned. (in your other post in some other thread). And to that I salute you.

it's simple,they opened signups.they were waiting some downloading or uploading from the fresh meat but most of them sat duck.
so they banned them.
i saw many users who complained about how ugly is pisexy's theme
now, i guess you won't complain anymore

Got me too - hadn't logged in for 2 days after logging on 4 times in the previous 3 days (hadn't fdloaded anything yet as they had nothing new) - who needs a ridiculous acct like that, pruning after a few days? And revtt's better anyway :P

I personally think it's great. Now the people that actually wanted the tracker for it's content already started using it, while all the ones that just signed up for the sake of it are weeded out.

so the +4.000 people that didn't really want it have no account to give away or trade.

This happened to a buddy of mine as well.

Their logic is simple, although a tad harsh, use the tracker,
or don't have an account at all.

They actually had about 10,000 new users sign up due to the hype,
and clearly, not all were using their accounts.

Luckily, I started seeding as soon as I joined, and the account is still in good standing.

Most trackers give users 30 - 60 days before they auto-prune, but I guess
PiSexy was more strict in how they went about things.

I guess it's "Use it" or "Lose it" without warning.

Plus, I'm sure the admins saw the many threads in forums from people
trading their Pisexy accounts, and decided to take drastic measures.

I second this.

Signed up because of the hype and after logged in, i'm very disappointed. Design is bad, navigate around is very difficult cause they have so much categories and torrents. Many categories has no torrent at all. Beside, the announcement box and the vip advertising box is very annoying.

Seeders are so hard to find there, each torrent has an average of 10 seeders ( I just took a wild guess, many many torrents have less than 10 seeders ). So i thought ok not a big deal, perhaps they have too many torrents and i didn't see the popular ones.

For this kind of nothing-special-tracker i'd go with bitsoup, more users, more content.

Please correct me if i'm wrong ... :)

I (think), I liked what I saw,

Put the account on the back burner, "to work on later",
as it looked as if it would be worth the effort.

Still a little shell shocked, but I suppose I will have to work on another account.

But to be fair, it has given every body a bit of a kick up the arse, If we like what we see in a new site, I`m pretty sure we all are make sure accounts are "live".

Do we really need a blow by bow every time they lose a few hundred members. They're gonna lose members it happens. Staff had said they don't want people idling on the site so if you didn't use it within the first few days you lost it and if that happened to you then remember to use it the next time they open up.
