I hope it comes back. My torrent search would start with Demonoid, especially software cracks. Had a magnificent interface and was an ocean literally in terms of content. I even loved the community(even though it had a huge userbase) which is why i hang out in subdemon a lot. I had withdrawal symptoms for almost a week, luckily demonoiders and now subdemon was brought up to somewhat fill the void.

Yes, I really hope they return soon so I can get rid of all my private trackers. I have like 15 more that aren't in my sig. :sick:

What makes Demonoid the best is that they don't entice you with the donation scheme. Another is that they don't force you to keep a ratio above 1.0.

They simply tell you to try and give back what you take. They won't do some lame tactic and disable your download and make you seed something for 2 weeks before you get banned while the torrent you downloaded was 2 years old with no leechers. :sick:

Deimos won't say a word on subdemon even if you start a topic with the headline like "Deimos you suck" or worse.
Atleast he could just drop by and say something to his members not necessarily related to the site but just SOMETHING, i'm sure they deserve more than a fuckin mute sysop.

user database has been moved to subdemon so if the site ever came back they still have everyones username and pass.

i always thought how demo displayed some of the torrents to unregistered users would be its downfall. it was the very first 'private' tracker i signed up for after finding a good torrent on suprnova. i miss it, and recent murmurings suggest the site will reappear but i don't always believe a rumour.
