When i open IE, some web pages won't display right, words are on top of each other, tabs are on top of words, words on top of tabs, various issues like those. Any ideas what is causing this?

might be cuz of coding because not every browser recognizes same codes, use firefox then report back

so if my Firefox is having the same issue then it's the web coding ?

Do not format your computer!!!
there are many website that are not support cross browsers:
you can read about it-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-browser
that because the programmers that built the site ,built it only for ff or ie and didnt check for other browsers...
the code of the html can be valid - http://validator.w3.org/
but,it can be that ie have some bugs in this site so it wont display good as ff....
usually ie6 have some bugs(piece of shit browser..) ...

How do i change the size of my fonts in Firefox so I can view webpages better?

my monitor is like 20" and i would like see things bigger so my eyes don't strain nearly as much, but evertime i do this(change the font size), things get all jumbled up on this webpage (www.youbet.com).

How do i change the size of my fonts in Firefox so I can view webpages better?

Firefox Knowledge Base

http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Options+window

or on the fly:

To change the text size of web pages on Firefox

Text Zoom Features
The ZOOM IN and ZOOM OUT buttons on the Accessibility Toolbar allow the user to enlarge and decrease the size of text items on a page. The Shortcut key for Zoom In is CTRL + + (plus) and the Shortcut Key for Zoom Out is CTRL + - (minus). CTRL + 0 (zero) will return the page to the default text size.
FIREFOX Zoom Shortcut key:
CTRL + + (plus, PLUS)
