Have you ever seen people do that thing where they put a penny into a glass of coke and bring it out 30 minutes later and it's all shiny, and then they say "That's what it's doing to your insides"?

Well good work I say, I've always wanted clean and shiny insides. Win all round :happy:

Both orange juice and apple juice have more calories from sugar than a Coke .
Because all 3 are beverages, all three require little breakdown by the body to flood the bloodstream with sugar.This raises blood insulin level and puts you on a fast train to Type 2 diabetes.
Now, eating equivalent calories from oranges or apples is a healthful endeavor as the fiber and bulk will slow down the rate of sugar entry into the bloodstream.
You can eat about 3 apples for the same number of calories as in the apple juice and the apples will actually make you feel full.

Irish Cream>Bushmills.. No matter what you say.

@Idol - Quit bullshitting, according to what you say, it sounds as if every other person who sips a fruit juice will get diabetes.. It takes a bit more than a couple glasses of fruit juice a day to hit diabetes.

IdolEyes787

True.Several factors contribute to the development of diabetes. The most important is genetics.
I was overstating to make that point that not everything that seems healthy necessarily is.

Bailey's + Kahlua+ vodka = Screaming Orgasm.

Oh and it's also a cocktail.

Barring all superficial attempts by the sciolists, I'll just state the drink that rules them all - a bit like the "one ring, to rule them all" -, and it's called "Caipirinha". There's variants, like "Caipiroska", or the strawberry-flavoured "Morangoska".

Caipirinha = Limes + Ice + Cachaça (Brazilian-type "vodka") + Sugar
Caipiroska = Limes + Ice + Rum + Sugar
Morangoska = Strawberries (crushed) + Ice + Vodka

Coke and Pepsi are amateurs - Irn Bru is the true sugary, chemical laden king.

I am sure Irn Bru would give you diabetes although it will prohably get you in other ways before that develops.

And it protects you against malaria. Very important when living in Scotland.

As far as cola goes, if it's not Coca-Cola it's not worth drinking.

I've never thought of it as a likely place to find the best soda, but the nicest I've tasted was in the UK. A few years back we attended a wedding in the north of England and while there I was introduced to a pleasant substance called dandilion and burdock. It wasn't gassy like most sodas and came in glass bottles that looked like they had been refilled over a thousand times. Apparently there's regional pride in the production. The northerners informed me that if I attempted to drink any of the "stuff sold down south" my private parts would probably drop off.

The wedding itself was near Newcastle but we spent a week around the north Yorkshire moors etc. before heading south.
