Middleman Crew Basics

The Middleman Crew are BT Mods and long term trusted members.
When making valued trades you may request a middleman for it.
This reduces risks of scams happening in a trade on this site.

The trade needs to fit the following requirements...

The trade involves a tracker of Level 4 and above in the WTAW (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/bittorrent-invites-section/t-what-invites-worth-with-reviews-and-ratings-142446) thread.
That a member involved has been registered at FST less than 90 days.
This shouldnt be needed if making trades with long term members.
Middleman Crew members will be available only for invite trades.
Requirements may be altered depending on the situation.

Middleman Crew Duties

Middleman Crew members collect all details from both members.
When theyve received all information they may forward it.

They may choose who to send the information first.
This is a safeguard should anything appear to be fishy.
This also applies when new members are involved.
After confirmation they would send the rest.

Requesting Middleman

You MUST make a REQUEST (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=138) in the Middleman Request section.
The member that creates the thread and Staff can read it.
Then a Middleman Crew member will reply to your request.
Include what invites your trading and with who.
Link to the profile of who your trading with.
Other details like MSN if necessary.

This is NOT full proof against being scammed in a trade.
This is intended to a be a more secure way to trade.
You should still RESEARCH who your trading with...

What is a middleman?

In principal, what Skizo said...

However, it can be several more things:

Merriam Webster:
Pronunciation: \ˈmi-dəl-ˌman\ Function:noun Date:1677 : an intermediary or agent between two parties; especially : a dealer, agent, or company intermediate between the producer of goods and the retailer or consumer
