Seedbox question??

Hey, I will take a OVH Seedbox, But I don't know which OS must take.
If I take Windows server 2003 after I just need to install Utorrent and all is ok?
If I take Ubuntu I must make settings during 30 minutes I think so :S
can someone help me?

Have you ever use Ubuntu and linux os ?
if no giveup linux at least for now and start to learn it at the begining linux hard for most people ..

Since so many people abused of the first two month offer, it does not exists anymore. Consequently, when you rent a server with Windows 2003 Basic on it, you have to pay the monthly EUR 10 fee.

If you are somewhat handy with computers and windows a simple ubuntu OS shouldn't be much of a problem.
Sure it can be a little scary at first but the guides are so easy to follow.

If you wanna make it a little easier on yourself you could install VMware on your windows pc and install some linux dist
and get to know it for a hour or two before you decide! :)

OVH have free OS-reinstalls..

Just go with debian and follow the guide here at filsesharingtalk. If its not working just make a reinstall and start again .

I'd start with Windows. You'll most likely get it up and running within 5 minutes. Then, you can read guides on this forums and others concerning Linux distros and you feel up to it, you can get a Linux OS installed on your box and start using it.

No, you will pay EUR 35.00. Don't you read my post? :P
And you will be able to connect to the server through RDP (VNC-clone).
The only settings you will need to make are those for uTorrent (or the client you'll choose).
But installing a FTP server or enhancing the security of your future KS should be one of your priority.
