How do I direct seed to a friend of mines that need help download a torrent??Because nobody is seeding at the moment and I have the file to help him.

Is the file on the tracker? Just try to download the file and make sure that the file name is the same that is going to the right folder. It will detect your file like 99% complete and then you will become a seeder. If it's not there and you have no upload rights to the tracker then upload it form him somewhere.

For example if you download your files to d:\downloads and the folder for the torrent is going to "This folder", then create a folder named "This folder" under "d:\downloads" and move the file(s) there; then when you try to download the torrent and it notices that you have the file it will be check the file to make sure is the same and then you become a seeder. Is like when you get a release on a certain tracker and then seed it in other trackers that have the same release.

No mate, it does not work that way.
If you both are members of the same tracker the only way is to do what saulin told you.
If you have the .torrent and it´s exactly the same release with exactly the same name, and is still alive in the tracker, you must download the .torrent file, once the recheck is over you´ll be seeding it, and your friend... and anyone else that wants it will download from you.

The other choice if this is not possible for whatever reason is to upload it to Rapid Share or a site like that.

what about file size if it is a little
1)you can host it one of file hosting site like rapidshare, mediafire...
2)if it's about torrent you must reseed your file so you will be seeder
3)you can create ftp locations too

So if you have the files and want to transfer to your friend. You can create a torrent with those files and list it through a public tracker and send the torrent file to him through email or aim.

Only you'll be the seeder. It wont be tracked by the original torrent site you dled the files from.

mate u gotta use the ipfilter.dat feature in utorrent..
ya can get more info from the utorrent release notes and forums..

in utorrent -> peer list,
right click -> Add Peer...

will be added even on private torrents (if he is not member of the tracker (so not announcing correctly the torrent) ) you will be banned beacase of cheating.
