I was browsing through various forums here, and I visited the 'Invite/Giveaway' portion of this forum and I realized that a lot of people are asking for the same invites (ScT, FNT, etc) and the same sites. However, I was curious which sites the regulars of FST visited that were more obscure, but treasured just as much. The more obscure trackers (not obscure as hard to get into, but more so less known and less sought after) seem to be the ones with more personality. So what are obscure trackers do you hold dear.

I'm sure the people want to keep those obscure sites just that: obscure. ;)

Goem is a less sought after site, but it's a gem in my opinion. It's easy to get into, but somewhat obscure. It's not for people who want to get into secret sites just to feel better about themselves, though.

I resent the inference that by posting a lighthearted response to a topic that I am somehow contributing to the decline of these boards.

At least the purpose of my post wasn't to denigrate others and quite frankly I would happily put my contribution to the site up against either of yours any day.

If you really feel that the forum is in decline, instead of attacking me I suggest your best course of action should begin with making more constructive posts.

Obscure as in tiny or obscure as in very specialised in something not very popular. :flamehide

the flamers where the ones that started posting shit like "site ***** is the coolest", not me.

the thread starter just wanted to know of any good lesser known sites that he could use, those idiots should have either posted something useful or nothing at all.

@IdolEyes787 (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/../../members/idoleyes787-197932) as far as i can see your "contribution" is spam, stfu if you have nothing useful to say, having 12141241 posts isn't a necessity.

Last time I'll spam the thread .Sorry Zafsk.

From wikipedia I'll let you decide to who it best applies olia.

"Flaming is the hostile and insulting interaction between Internet users.
An Internet user typically generates a flame response to other posts or users posting on a site, and such a response is usually not constructive, does not clarify a discussion, and does not persuade others.

Sometimes, flamers attempt to assert their authority or establish a position of superiority over other users. Other times, a flamer is simply an individual who believes he or she carries the only valid opinion. This leads him or her to personally attack those who disagree.

In some cases, flamers wish to upset and offend other members of the forum, in which case they can be called trolls".

I will admit to being an occassional spammer but you would be very hard pressed to find any posts of mine which insult or belittle others or at the least are not meant to entertain.

See I'm not even flaming now.

He obviously means the latter.
In that case I highly recommend:
indietorrents - for indie music
MBT - for twee/shoegaze music
Karagarga - for obscure/indie movies

Ignore all of the people asking for gimmick trackers like FTN, it's not worth your while. The above however are.
