I have games I recently purchased and installed that do not allow me to play without having the CD in the drive. I expect this is intentional on behalf of the game makers to prevent sharing. But it is nuissance. Can a game be installed to run without always having to insert the actual CD every time?

before you get riped to shreds by the members here I surjest you read the FAQ.

you can play almost any game without a CD you just need to put the crack for the game into the makers directory

Ok thats a stupid question, if you bought the game just put the cd in the drive, whats so hard?

ermmmm yea I guess a no-cd crack will sufice. Or you can make an Iso image of your cd and mount it with daemon tools. Then you can close daemon tools and it will still be mounted always, as long as the cd image is still on your hard drive in same place. But an awful waste of space wouldn't you say?

EDIT: Oh and if you didn't know rich, I was chopping up that guy, not you ;)
