I just downloaded a couple of 100mb videos from a site and when I play them after about a minute or so they just stop.. when i try to play them they just sit there and when i try to fast forward it just goes black and wont play. Is there any program or does anyone have an idea what I could do to fix this?

rule #1 if the bsplayer or videolan can't play it , it can't be played

no not true i have had some wierd times on downloads. i got some that dont work with any thing but acdsee when i right click. that uses windows media player but dosent scan the file first thats why i think it works.( i think it was porn that did this ) also i have had video play divx crappy and divx pro play it fine. ( it was hackers that did that)

Also if it still a dat some time they dont play till there done whitch sucks.

i think there is a tool called asftools....maybe that can help. I remember it fixed asf files that wouldnt let the seek bar work, so maybe it'll help on wmv files.

Oh, that's why just use Window Media Player those are it's type of files so when u play it in there it should work.
