Half Life: Blue Shift Help

okay i just installed half life blue shit. is there ne thing else that i need to install besides that cuz i cant play it. whenever i run the game a blank screen appears and then it takes me back to my desktop. its doest give ne error. i got it from suprnova and its a clone cd image. i got blue shift, opp. force and blue shift high definition pack in the cd. do i need to install ne of these 2. i am on xp and my pc meets the game requirements. ne help wud be great

You don't need Half-Life. Blue Shift was a stand alone game. You do need the original game CD in the drive to play though - a copy won't work. Try going to Megagames.com or Gamecopyworld.com and look for a 'No CD' patch.

isnt it suppose to give sum kind of error like "NO CD IN THE DRVIE"

thks. i got the "no cd patch" but now its giving me an error when i try to start a new game "Mod_LoadBrushModel: models/v_ 9mmhandgun.mdl has wrong version number (1431655765 should be 30_)

does this have sumthing do to with the patch

It sounds to me like this is a bad copy of the game. The only advice I can offer is to buy it. Amazon has it for only $9.99...
