now steam needs a cd key to play. fuck fuck and fuck again. :angry: :angry: :angry: . i played cs 1.6 beta for like 3 months, and had great time. i still want to play, but now i have to get a cd key. fuck&#33;&#33; :angry: :angry: <_< <_< :angry: :angry: :( :&#39;( :&#39;( >_<

steam was a free version of cs. many people played it. it was released by valve to evaluate cs 1.6 beta. but their evaluation if over, and now it&#39;s not free. fuck fuck fuck. this really sucks monkey balls.

how do u mean its not free ? do you mean u have to pay to download it ? or pay to get the cd key ? or pay when u connect to a server ?

first off moron steam wasn&#39;t a free version of counter strike get ur wording right. Steam was merely a client which allowed you to play all the HL mods through Valve&#39;s servers. Second if you have any common sense at all you would have noticed that Steam was only in Beta stages thats why it was free if was ineviteble for Valve to start the CD-key protection with this one the final product was done.

calm down - your WON ID is just converted into a STEAMID, if you already have a Valve game (how else would you be playing Counter-strike?), nothing really should change
