View Full Version : Sudden Drop In Connection Speed

I have a 1.5mb adsl line. I know that they dont usually run at their max so ive accepted that the line usually runs at about 1.2mb. But suddenly the speed totally dropped off and its now only 400kb/s. I have no idea what happened. I've exited all filesharing apps and every speed test i take i get results of about 400kb/s. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on?

you get less sources , slower speeds

maybe ask your isp about it?

we are not your isp so why ask us?

because I know a lot of people are quick knowledgable around here.. so i decided to ask to see if there was some simple solution i was just missing. also its 1am here and my isp isnt awake.

normally my downloads from the internet are at 130-145KB/s, now tops is 50KB/s.. lol i know this is a lot for you ad, but i still think i should be getting what i payed for.

If I were you i'd call my isp and bitch at them since they got tech support 24/7

I Had The Same Problem I Have 600k Broardband And Speed Tests Where Saying I Had Less Than 56K!!!!!.....I Used TCP Optimizer And Restarted My Computer And Modem And Now It Works Better Than Ever
