All this hype about the RIAA cracking down on music downloaders hasnt bothered me much, as it has been happening since napster. I just finished reading an article though about how they have already filed lawsuits against 216 people like me and are charging $750-$150,000 per song that they have illegally downloaded. My pops just informed me that he doesnt want me downloading songs anymore having read this article. Even though over 60 million people use this server, the RIAA have gotten a few people in the San Francisco area already and I wanna be cautious. Is there anything I can do that would disable them from catching me? Possibly turning off my file sharing? Or does anyone know how they even catch you? Help plz...
