Ben, Benjamin, Benjammin', parkbench, benchpresser, benchez, ...

I'd just like to say I've stolen some very interesting films from your site over the past months and there are still many more there for me to indulge in. A most exciting array of such motion pictures in top-end xvid format compel me to state that it is, as far as I can surmise, one of the best sites out there at the moment.

Salutations to you and yours.

PS
Just saw Trois Couleurs: Rouge, and was wondering if you've considered adding La Double Vie de Véronique (also with Irène Jacob)?

In Canada it's called "kissing ass".You Brits might have another term for it though.

I watched Memento in chronological orderDidn't make any sense.
Could have stood a giant alien or rabid panda or a giant rabid alien panda.
Still beats the shit out of Krzysztof Kieślowski though.

It would be my pleasure but it's one of those super secret sites that don't give out invites to the unwashed masses like myself.

When you said "I have a site" I thought you meant it was your site.

There are two types of people who actually like Godard- film snobs and...........no actually only film snobs.

She is quite the stylish tiger that lady.

I'll be watching one or two of those Godard flicks, if you say they're good Idol. You didn't like Trois coulers?

All that ideological bollshite aside, I must say the acting is absolutely stunning, on Irène Jacob as well as the old man's part. The setting is also idyllic, I love Geneva.

What's that site of yours? Private and that?

It has big floppy ears and hops around a lot.

And I never said I liked Godard.I take a pass on most French films as a rule except Luc Besson and Eric Rohmer stuff.
For me the French in general take themselves far too seriously to be entertaining.
Besides if I want pretension I'll stick to the masters Fellini and Bergman. At least they know how to tell a story.I weird incomprehensible story but a story nonetheless.

If I want art with a bit of earthiness to it Pedro Almodovar's my go to foreign type.

About Trois coulers perfectly OK movies.Probably even good but just too depressing for my taste.

Honestly I suggest giving up this bullshit and requesting The Three Stooges Meet Hercules.Curly Joe overacts terribly but Moe is fooking brilliant.
I think the eye poking is symbolic of Man's loss of innocence but I'm not sure.
Could be a penis joke.

Oh, that one. Must go check if they haven't booted me from it yet! :/

Too much uni work! They'll have me out of all my places at this rate.

I'll try to find those cinematographic examples you lay out there.

It is, after all, common knowledge that you've spent the latter years of your life seated on a couch crunching crisps away while you watch the whole world's pictures on your telly (don't try to deny it, I know it all).

You were saying French films you avoid?

I'd say catch Le Doulos Idol, and your opinions will surely change.

A Noir of epic proportions.

I'll give it a shot.I do like noir although I have a hard time watching anything with JP Belmondo .
For a leading man I've always thought he was incredibly simian.
