Is It Safe To Download Movies?

is it safe? i'm seeing all these post from ISP's telling them that they downloaded illeagle sh*t and stuff. i got SBC DSL? is it safe to Download?
(I wanna download some ol fashion Star Wars Movies) :)

If your isp send you that then its a bad thing to keep downloading it.

yes right now it is safe.. unless you are ripping the movies and 'costing the studios money'

they only suin for songs because riaa is on their back. they dont say anything about movies.

but they send you a warning first right......?

as far as I know, the ISP sends u a warning letter and say if you carry on they will disconnect you

i would be careful because last year i d/led a movie and was sharing it and i believe it was Universal Studios called up my campus and told them to shut me down. So i was shut down for a week by my campus. SO they are out there so be careful thats all i have to say.

no you didnt. But yeah they still look at your IP but i mean they were pissed at me for sharing it so yeah just dont d/l like a ton of them at once cause i also did that it wasnt smart :rolleyes:
