View Full Version : .nrg To Iso, How?

need help pls, i was on suprnova and i saw this nrg>iso thing for halo beta 1.5, i ignored it, but now i need to know how to convert an nrg to iso, cuz i don't wanna waste cdrs, i wanna use daemon tools, need it for jedi academy. thanx in advance for ne one who replies. :)

.nrg is nero images files iso is also an image files in some ways

In order to convert to standard iso, see guide in sig.

.nrg can however be mounted just the same most times by deamon tools, if not then you can just use the nero virtual drive in nero 6.

BTW: I do not follow on exactly what the sig rules are but I am pretty sure that yours is just a touch to big.

Why do you convert it at all??? :blink:

Use nero and burn it, you wont waste a CDR this way you just gain a nice backup. ;)

I had Nero image of Half Life that was about 700MB... i converted it to a BIN and it went to 400MB ...wtf... so i converted it to a ISO and it was also about 400MB. and the 400MB file installed no problem.

I lost 300MB . i wonder was all that MB in the nero image necessary
