i got the image from irc and how can u tell what kind of graphics card u have. forgive im not much of a gamer

don't worry about being new, everyone at some point was a "new" gamer. it's simple, i like to do it like this:

on your desktop>right click mouse>properties>settings>advanced>adapter or look for something fancy like geforce or nvidia or radeon or ati or something like that (usually the top most right>click on it. it'll give u all the information about ur video card, wut company, wut version, wut drivers, how much video ram, etc. if it's an ati (radeon) card, go to www.ati.com (http://www.ati.com) or if it's an nvidia (geforce) go to www.nvidia.com (http://www.nvidia.com) , look for the latest drivers, dl them and install them. if that doesn't work, pm me, and i'll look into it more extensively. hope that helped. :)

oh, and make sure u grab direct x 9.0b from:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&DisplayLang=en (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=141d5f9e-07c1-462a-baef-5eab5c851cf5&DisplayLang=en) , all the new games need direct x 9. :)

had the same problem. u just need to install ur video card's driver. simple
