.mdf and .mds files. The only thing I could find about them is that I should use Alcohol 120% to burn it, but how should I? One is real small like a .cue file and one is real big like a .bin should I do it the same way? :huh: Thx 4 ne and all help ;)

One more question though it doesn't seem that I can mount this to my virtual drive is this true do I have to burn it to a cd? No big deal I just like to check my files before I waste a cd on a corrupted file Thx again man.

you should be able to mount it with the alchohol virtual drive.

I did mount it with it but it didn't start with auto-run so I went in and clicked on install.exe and it told me to install from cd. I was hoping maybe there was something in the settings that I could check before burning a file that may be corrupted. Thx

Hmm, is this a new game by chanve, I have been wondering when developers are going to start putting the disk check during intallation? that copuld be a posibility. Try checking with one of the game crack sites for what kind of protection it has on it? I think that clone cd's website has a list.

I hope that is not why though.

No it's and old game actually its covert ops expansion for cnc :lol:

Whew!! Well than I am out of limited knowledge feild on this subject, all I can recommend is to burn and see what happens although you very well may be making a coaster. Sorry.

Well now when I try to burn it w/Alcohol 120%, It starts up but when it gets ready to actually write to the cd it says recording failed check log for details. In the log it says "Invalid Field In Parameter List"
(E:) COMBI RW16x10/DVD (1:0) -[MODE SELECT ERROR]
Recording Failed

Any Idea This the first time I've Alcohol for burning usually I use nero but it won't read these files. Thx again

Sorry no idea? you could try mounting then dragging and dropping.
