Hey guys,do u know of any software or method,which will be helpful for me...I need one so i could create my own customized signature or avatar!!
Plzz Do help me out!!
Or is there any site where i can get good avatars!!!

Yeah, I do this loads on a football website to create avatars for members out of youtube clips etc.

Probably an easier way, but....

I use something like youtubeget to download videos as avis

Then some software called videoavatar to chop out the basic chunk I want and convert it to a .gif

Then the fantastic Jasc animation shop (used to be bundled with older versions of paint shop, still easy enough to find) to properly edit, resize, cut/paste/duplicate frames etc and optimise the finished file.

Works pretty well imo, gets me things like
