Well I cant help u..If I dont know what firewall your using i cant tell u wht u wanna do....

In the event that u find your firewall..u need to create some rules..this will be in the F/W's options and allow for incoming connections on ports 6881 -6999

is this dangerous? allowing these ports to allow incoming connections?

Why?..you dont have to create a rule thats gonna be running all the time.....just create one that runs with bit-torrent ..If ya firewalls any good at creating rules it s quite easy

no
also can'timport thebad ip list from pg
look into a upgread to zonealarm, zygate, outpost
these are great & allow the importaion of bad ip's
then you don't have to run the resources hog pg, also sience it works @ tcp/udp level, much faster than pg could ever be

why not just have your firewall warn you when there is an incoming or outgoing that way you can allow that session

It may not be a software firewall, do you connect though a modem or do you connect though a modem/router e.g. whats the brand, model ect, as with the router you have to forward ports usally though a web interface.
