i havent received a single update since i installed NAV 2004. am i the only 1 facing this problem.
edit: is there ne way i can fix this

you do have "auto update" selected, right? otherwise, i think symantec only updates once a week, unless theres a serious threat, theyll do a special update
btw, how long have you had it?

thks but i dont wanna go to symantec site every day and check if there are ne updates or not. it wud be better off if with "live update"

you tried to update at symantecs site? cause hitin the live update button on the NAV page dont do squat. go to the link above by sparsley. let us know if worked out

wadya mean. if u r trying to say that is my norton activated. yes its activated
If you installed that crack to get unlimited updates until 2041, then that crack disables autoupdate and you have to update it manually.

no i didnt use that. i used the other one in which you "activate nav on the phone". howcome my friend is getting all the updates and i am not. we both got nav from the same source

well you said that you ve only had it about two weeks, wait another day, new updates come out tomorrow, if it doesnt update, contact symantec i guess, wish i could help more than that, but im stumped, cause ive been gettin mine. but norton is fallible i found that out when it missed the Pup.A trojan, its not even in symantecs knowledge base yet, had to have panda detect it

possibly. do you still have the number they gave you when you subscribed? (conformation or account #, i think)

if norton doesnt work. wadya think i shud do. go back to nav 2003 or install sum other av program

let me just clear this mess up.whenever i open the nav main window it says that the virus definitions are out of date and when i run live update, it says that all the definitions are up2date :(

yea.. anything cracked means it may come with flaws
Im sure with a little effort and troubleshooting he can get it to work.
It works pretty much fine for everyone else.
Actually its not a big deal because its almost just the same as norton 2003 :rolleyes:

2004 prob scans for correct serial.. just like an online game cdkey.
No one seems to be able to crack those games.

NAV updates on a wednesday each week on live update
unless something nasty comes out then it will
update as and when :P :D
