Hey all,

I have an idea to put forward to the moderators of the Kazaa Lite website. Do you know what BitTorrent is. I've been reading into it a lot recently and it's really a great program. It works alot like kazaa, but differently. But that you can research elsewhere. My idea is that you host a torrent of Kazaa Lite and other software that you host on your website so we can all download via BitTiorrent.

P.S You will only really understand this if you have used Bit-Torrent, so anyone who has please reply.

What i meant was like on the official Kazaa Lite webpage to have like links to a torrent file which we could download. That way more and more people would find out about BitTorrent and make it better.

Could be added, but this is a kazaa lite site not bittorrent site.

I think that what he is saying is for the files from the main site to be upped as torrent files, and that way save server resources. (isnt that what the program was originally intended to do)

As i understand and see it, there is not shortage of mirrors, the http/ftp connection wethod is much easier for users.

BTW - we all know what bittorent is.

yeh what toddiscool said is exactly wat i meant. but yeh i just thought it&#39;d be cool to have the stuff for download on Bittorrent.

No not really, but it sounds like u are trying to be funny and say bittorrent is a good program.

That&#39;s just for u, cause speed varys. Because I get my max speed on it all the time and I don&#39;t limit anything.

learn how to configer your system
you should get at or better speeds than kazza most all the time
if you get shadows, its color coded
so if you get yellow all the time, it means your being chocked because of firewall or a router maybe
bittorrent is one of the fastest p2p you can get so it seems the only thing slow is YOU

Hmm.. it could be cause of my router.. hmm.. since our 2 computers are networked... i can just download right to my pc.. and not onto my parrents.. that may work

yeh muchspl2 is right, learn how to configure ur system. I&#39;ve only been using BitTorrent for like a week and its getting sweet speeds.

@muchspl2: Whats a good torrent site? I currently use suprnova.org but its kinda slow.
