Although my car qualifies for CARS, I never considered participating.

I'm going to trade in a perfectly good car- with major benefits in terms of registration/insurance because of it's age- to take on car payments with a car that gets 2 MPG better?
No tanks.

I know the guys at my local junkyard think it's a stupid plan too.
Trashing the engine removes a good 50% of the cars potential parts-picking value.

DeMint is an idiot.
Comparing CARS to the "used car business" shows that he understands nothing of either endeavour.
I guess that a Republican on Fox News felt that the gratuitous swipe at Obama was obligatory.

Kind of a "tit-for-tat" sort of thing, I guess.

Well, he says all this with special insight and knowledge of the U.S. and it's financial system, you see.

He is an expert.

Or is it wizard?

Can't recall which.

No, wait - he is a sage.

Anyway, he speaks in financial tongues.

He's an asshole.
