anyway to get it back for free :D i tried the live update till 2041 thing but i couldnt find the file :(

For what software?

I will assume it's Norton but Norton what? AntiVirus? Firewall? Version 2002 or 2003 ???

Norton Live-Update Extratime [year 2041 means long enough :-)]

1. first make backup the old file [copy]
2. overwrite the old file with this new file.
3. set the new unter protection, otherwise Live-Update set it
back --> important!!
4. hope it works [ yes, works]
5. found the file - see above.

Why not try Norton AntiVirus Corporate 8?

-Unlimited use of Live Update
-Uses less CPU resources
