I just downloaded windows 2000 pro form bittorent and its a .nrg file. Ive never used nero for burning iso, I always use something simpler. Anyway I dont see the option to burn an iso image when I open the file up with nero it just gives me the option to create a data which wont boot like an iso image. :(

It doesn't get any simpler than using Nero! Just open the program and select File -> Burn Image... and burn it! If you never used Nero before, how can you know that a *.nrg Image will not boot? Just burn it, it will boot, I have done that dozens of times and it always works.

Thats why I was so pissed. I didnt know it until I loaded the torrent.

But what the hell, it only took me an hour and a half to download it.

yeah, it's a PITA...
I never use Nero...last time I downloaded an .nrg (only format that release was available in) I had to
install Nero just to burn it. Good thing it's never caught on.
Damn proprietary formats. <_<

ECDC only for music/mp3 discs.
or DVD videos, or SVCDs, or slideshow thingies.

All other burning is done with Alcohol 120%.
