Finally breaking into this whole 21st century shit and bought a HDTV, I also have a PS3 which I know I can watch blurays on but it can only read .mp4 files and not .mkv.

So any trackers out there with a shit-tonne of mp4 movies/tv/kids content?

Cheers.

There are numerous ways of playing mkv files through your PS3. Look into PS3 Media Server, GotSent, TVersity etc. You can either stream or convert and playback through a FAT32 USB drive.

PS3 can read mkv. You just need ps3mediaserver

It's really easy:)

I used to use TVersity to stream movies but somehow managed to fuck up some settings somewhere and my PC can longer see the PS3.

Like, ill give it another shot at connecting them so cheers for the link brightsid.

As a backup plan though, are there any mp4 trackers?

for latest/scene releases of MP4, for all TVs and Movies. IPT is the one.

IPTorrents is uploading MP4 format of movies/TVs after 4-5 minutes of pre release. that 4-5 minute i think they are converting :p but they do have the most MP4 releases on the net.

I'll throw another recommendation for PS3media server, I think its much better than Tversity in terms of transcoding things properly, and giving customization options.

Also, you might want to check out MediaMall playon. With plugins, it supports like 1000 streamable shows/etc. from various sources on the net.
