What is the fastest download speed you achieved while downloading a torrent?

And

What can be the fastest download speed possible?

Two questions....similar but different.

how! as there would always be the limitations put by the connection, hardware, latency etc etc. It can't be infinite even for you :frusty:

So far the highest download speed 562 Mb. If I am right then it is equal to around 70 MB.I have got that figure from your info. your post shows the highest download speed to be 337 Mb which equals to around 42 MB/s. But my question is not about your download tests. The first one is about the fastest actual speed which you experienced when downloading a torrent and the second one is the highest download speed theoretically possible in the present.

I have just read somewhere that at present the world fastest hard disk can only support at most around 70 MB/Sec speed. Does it means you can't download or upload more than 70 MB/Sec under the most favourable circumstances? (There is difference between MB and Mb. 8Mb/Sec= 1 MB/Sec)

The biggest problem is yet the PUA, which basically means they advert unlimited traffic, but either at 320GB or 250GB downstreamed, they downgrade your service to 512kb/s until the start of the next month.

That doesn't disprove his theory at all. If you test to a nearby server, of course you're going to get the speeds allowed by the internal network.

Try a speedtest to a US server and see what happens.

No disrespect Rart...but Global means WWW.
It's the average value for all connections, external and internal.

Beside this...I was banned for fake ratio on pretome (ratio free tracker) based on some tracker statistics ( suddenly I had an average of 8MB upload speed). When I showed them my speed test and Utorrent stats, they let me in again, this is another proof that cheating is a relative term, unless prooven with swarm statistics.

No disrespect but... you still don't understand the point feeling is trying to make, whether it is true or not.

The majority of speedtests are still conducted to the nearest server location, which is most likely internal. Taking an average of that wouldn't make any difference.

If you want to prove him wrong, post a speedtest you did on a US server. That's definitely not internal.

Feeling banned me and another 10 friends on mine who never cheated. There is nothing more truthfull for me than this.He might be a great guy, but he definitely despite us for no reason.Bottom line is that he owns the tracker, and he can play God in his yard. But an unjust God!
