So i've been thinking, I'm getting amd athlon xp 2600+ 333fsb and i'm getting 1gig o ram pc 3200 400mhz, should i get pc 2700 333mhz for the best speed

3rd gen noob is right, but if you plan on overclocking at all, you should get the faster ram. I have a couple of 128 mb ddr 400 sticks sitting around my room if you want 'em both you can have em for $40 including shipping.
