Okay it's just a bad joke, but I just couldn't help it seeing all there good trackers closing down.
I wonder why is all this happening. Obviously its got something to do with the anti piracy laws. In Britain the government are fighting against us more than ever before. They are spending millions to stop something that could go both ways... will we buy an album if we dont know if it's any good? Will we go a a theater to see a film we don't know anything about? At least we know who not to vote next time.
Yes, what we are doing is considered illegal, but is it immoral too? I think not. We are living hard times. Most of us cant afford to pay for something that isn't good . Is it our fault, or theirs? Is is our fault that there is no way to find a decent job after university? Is it our fault that they won't give us any more help to continue school so we can really give something back? I think not. I agree that in life you need to fight, work for something, nut just take it but aren't we fighting way to many wars already?
So what are they going to do if they catch us? Are they going to arrest all the kids between 13 and 19 with an Internet connection, or just a few of us to set as an example? I think this is a war they will never end. I was asking myself these days which one is worse: internet piracy or commercial piracy? There are still loads of people selling copies everywhere.
I have to mention that I am using BT, I am not a criminal, I pay tax and help the poor every tine I can, I don't do drugs and never look for scandal. I go to the theater with my burd once every fortnight, we would have done it more often if we could allow it. You just cant hit into random people.
There is another side of the story, the way I see it: the leading staff of these trackers are afraid of what could happen to them and thet just close the whole business off . There are some events that lead to this, starting with oink and finishing with what happened yesterday with some trackers. I don't blame them, MPAA will aim for the people who owns these sites in the first place.
I hope f** guys won't be too mad on me cause of the title, I meant to write some funny shit but I went all serious all of a sudden when I remembered my favourite tracker also went down weeks after I donated, hoping they will get better.
I will end by saying that I feel sorry for all of you that lost a good place. I also lost my favorite site not long ago, and I understand your frustration. We need be strong and stay together. There are loads of ways of getting what we want and we will, no matter if they like it or not.
What is your position?
Excuse my French
