Having read that pastbin there is some total sheet in that post NO site is above getting caught or safer than another if the authorities want to catch the people involved they will!!

As for amount of donations fo0r sites and them making money I am sure some do and I also know others that do struggle and owners and staff make up the short fall on regular basis.

Having said all that I think that a site that has a pay to be a member is totally wrong, they are calling it sponsorship well to me that makes you a part owner of the site and puts you at more risk with authorities as you are willing on a regular basis paying for equipment and means all registered people have pay to be on the site.

There are quiet a few other things I can pick holes out of that post but think this covers why I would never be a member or involved with a site that works that way :)

SCT was in it for the money? Oh well thats news to me seeing as I was staff and thats not what we ran it for, we ran it to be the best of the best and thats exactly what we accomplished year after year.

So STN goes around trying to put dirt on others to makes STN look awesome, thats an awesome start guys, well done and good luck... :rolleyes:

The STN sysop keeps on commenting how other trackers are totally unsafe while his is perfect... yeah, right. :dry:

The funniest thing is that at the beginning he said the site would keep on being up with or without donations. Now have a look at their sponsorship system - if paying for upload credit at ScT was Pay2Leech, these guys have gone to the next level.

Given the tracker's current status when it comes to activity both in torrents and their forums, it definitely wasn't the right time to make paying the only way of staying.

Right now the vast majority of torrents have 1 seeder and 0 leechers. I'd say there's nothing you can't get elsewhere.
