Script Summary:
converts the SCC shit to ScT shit <3 SCC


Greasemonkey is an extension for Mozilla Firefox, an open source Web Browser. Most userscripts are written for Firefox & Greasemonkey (although some work in Opera, Safari and even Internet Explorer).

For this guide I will assume you are using Firefox, if not you should install Firefox first.

Userscripts run via Greasemonkey
Now that you have Firefox, you need to install GreaseMoney (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748) and Stylish (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2108). After installation (which requires restarting your browser), you are now ready to install userscripts (http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/63213).

Now clicking on a .user.js link triggers Greasemonkey to pop up the script installation panel. Greasemonkey shows you a list of what sites the script will run on and ask if you want to install the script.

Now loading a web page results in additional code (the userscript) being run.

In my situation, it was being used to look at the same icons for too many years. I've the same problem at many trackers, not only at SCC. It's not SCC's fault, it's just my habits who die hard.

ScT was ran by retarded douchers that stole our money... yet you still show love for em. typical.How typical of you. There is no proof that they stole or misused the donation money. I am not supporting them but I am not against them either, simply because there is no proof that I should believe either part of the argument. I suggest you look into how much running such a site costs. The cost of servers for hosting the site, servers for seeding (Gbit servers), and not to mention topsite access. Leeching from topsites is not cheap.

i love the SCC layout since the beginning of SCC (2006?), when nobody gave a damn for that tracker. Only categories icons should have been improved.

SCC's theme is dark and strains the eyes a wee bit. The light blue is much nicer for me to look at. All sites should have a dozen themes for the user to pick from. THose who are offended should wonder why they have had to have the same theme for over a year waiting for SCC V2 to arrive. Word is that V2 will be a lighter color, definietly not black. Admin at scc aren't offended and I imagine there not offended by the windfall of donations the last few days or all the seedboxes that migrated to there site.

I can't assure it's this same Greasemonkey script since I couldn't get it to work 100% correctly on Opera, but you get the idea.

Oh, and you can choose whether to show the SCC or ScT logo with this one.

I was on SCC for about a year before ScT closed.. I was already used to the icons. However, say I wasnt, I would just use SCC as it is.. I know many do not agree with me here, but I love the black layout, with the alien red, looks smoooth. But i've always been a sucker for colors laid over black backgrounds. I guess its neat that someone took time to make this script for people having a hard time though...Options are always good :shuriken:

I tried the script out to see how well it worked, and it's pretty impressive - looks very much identical to the blue-gold ScT design, which is actually pretty nice. I really don't think any disrespect was meant by the creation of this script; people were used to this theme and wanted to see it on the site, so someone made it possible. Nobody has delusions that SCC is ScT simply by using this script. How people take offence to it is beyond me.

There were several thousand users who used ScT exclusively, and when it closed it was a major loss for them. They now make up a big part of the community at SCC, and there is a 'thank you' thread from ScT members with over 500 posts (in a week) expressing how grateful they are for joining the SCC community.
