EDITED: For help. (Yes yes, I can help too.)

Well, it seems, oddly enough to some people, that your Ram is holding you back. Your fsb is going to 233, and if im not mistaken, thats also what your RAM is being set to run at, where as its normal is 200. 233 for 3200 ram is pretty good, but if you want to get such high FSb's as say 300Mhz, that would be needed to push it well over the 3Ghz spectrum, then I would suggest going with some 3700 Ram, which is more of an Pentium Overclocking Ram in my experience.

BONUS! : http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu/displ...2400c-oc_5.html (http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu/display/p4-2400c-oc_5.html)

There is a site I found on a trial test they did for overclocking.

Hope is helps,

and yes, DWK is right, 44 on pretty much full load is fine.

Oh btw, one thing, who makes your Ram, and what options do you have for it in your motherboard?

Also, what motherboard do you have....

Powercolor 865APE. that's the name

and my ram: some weird name, infinieron or something like that. shitty but cheap.
so how do i change the fsb/ram ratio? and should i update my bios?

Could you give us a link to your motherboard's company product page of it?

Also, if your have shitty RAM, that will hold you back on how high up you can up the Ram speed (and the FSB as a result).

AFAIK imho here's what I can answer of your questions.

2. Yes you could damage it. A number of ways.
5. Those are good temps.

ok, those r good temps here, but to ocer's, their temps are like 35 load and 25 idle. lol. but they have like crazy heatsinks and like 120mm case fans. i want to do that, but i can't find a way to mont a 120mm fan to my heatsink. oh well. so flashing bios might damage the comp? but wat will resolve the whole prob with the max of 233? cuz i know u can change the ratio thing, but i can't find a way to do it. any help?

ANSWERS-

1. Only flast the bios if you dont have the latest version, and you ALREADY have the new version ready to put on it once you flast it.

2. Your FSB is probably only going to 233 because thats as far up as your Ram can go, get some higher rated ram, or more reliable, and you should be able to push it further.

In this case, you do get what you pay for.
