It says failed and I was so close to finish it..........

Does it say "failed" or "X pieces failed hash check"?

Cause if it's the second, just let it run and it will find another source to download that piece again (several times if needed) until it finishes...

It says "Failed" in the space where the remaining time should appear and below it says "Bad file"


And now it is saying "problem connecting to tracker-Timeout exceeded"

what sort of file was it??

maybe teh file got corrupt

that time out error happens regular just keep it open

Hey Ad,
I'm downloading my first two files from Bit. or suprnova I should say.

ones still downloading but one stopped with error message
"Problem connecting to tracker-< urlopen error (10060), Operation timed out.
Do you think this download will resume?

Sorry CM about asking a ? in your topic but since I have a related prob could&#39;nt help myself.`

Re-install BT, and then, re-downaod the torrent.

ye wait

it could take 5 minutes it could take 5 hrs but it will start up again

another thing I try to do which works is re connect it sometimes does work you could give that a try too

...or the tracker may be offline, I once had that error and I left the file running for almost 4 days straight but nothing happened...still wouldnt open., Id listen to Wiznadabe and reinstall BT then redownload the torrent from wherever and try again.
