because ISOs are too immensely big to download for my 256k connection, plus the only place quick enough to get it is on suprnova which is BT, which I thoroughly hate since it won&#39;t go above 5kb/sec for me.

I refuse to use IRC because of the queues and the slow speeds that ensue. And rips provide equal amount of quality with almost everything vital intact at a smaller file size and is hosted on a more reliable warez host which will ensure you are able to download the game at good speeds.

I think you get my drift on rips.

from what i have heard this game is very T&L instensive. so you will prolly have to turn down the graphics a bit and maybe shadows.

I sugest you look into the others p2p programs section to properly configer your computer, that are read the faq

Well i have a firewall and its on blue now, and i did what tttttt, recommneded, by taking off the firewall, i had about 35kb for a couple seconds but thats it. Then it went back to 3kb/s. I dont like to leave my firewall off really. I have zonealarm.

It was cool for the first 5 minutes, but after i kept falling off the path, kinda annoying after that.

And it hurt my eyes, and wears on my mind, ppl curses back and forth at each other like children demanding to go to disneyland.

Zonealarm doesn&#39;t block Goverment intruders cuz they can use anyport they want but firewall only blocks ports that Hackers can connect to you thru. so your firewall does squat againts the Goverment and you status or how long you&#39;ve been here has jack shit to do with what you know. and to import ports to block on a program such as Zonealarm you would have to actually work for zonealarm to know how to do that and mess with the program.

im just saying that if you rely on your firewall to block the RIAA or FBI your in for something diffrent if you want to block them use PeerGuardian

using both is not as good as just one are the other, and its better on the firewall level, if he imported the bad ip list, it works before it could ever get to peer guardian, it works on the tcp/udp level.
but if you run both, they could conflick, and let ip&#39;s that should be blocked, in.

which is y i only use peerguardian when i&#39;m not at the computer and i&#39;m dling something. usually i just use zonealarm.

doesnt peerguardian kill your download speed. I remember it did to me. Thats why i dont bother with it. no matter what you do, your isp can still give them your info. Why hide, stand and fight.

Oooh the game is so good. It feels just like the original one...

When you go in that warehouse around the begining, you can hear the rain pour down hard on the metal roof. It&#39;s like jose quarvo, pack of pall mall cigerettes and eating pork skins. Wearing the lether and smell of gunsmoke in the air...*sniff* ahhh the smell of action, and love.

NOTE: None of that crap I didn&#39;t quote from the game, its just how this game reminds me. The greezy bullets and hard nights.

I don&#39;t know its just something about this game that just makes you want to go out and get drunk, smoke a pack of cigs, and shoot people.


Unfortunitly I wasn&#39;t able to play much since my mouse is fucking up. I&#39;ll have to go get another today... it was hard to pull myself away from the action. Though I had to since the left mouse click button is messed up so it shot all my ammo out.

using both is not as good as just one are the other, and its better on the firewall level, if he imported the bad ip list, it works before it could ever get to peer guardian, it works on the tcp/udp level.
but if you run both, they could conflick, and let ip&#39;s that should be blocked, in.

Well, after playing for a while and getting to chapter 2, I have to say that there are at least two levels in Max Payne 2 that remind exactly that level. Max Payne is woozy all through, and I&#39;m getting kinda sick of it :D :D

oh well, it&#39;s our maxy :lol:

my dl speed for smallville is around 50kb/s now. i have cable. surf speed is at 2.4mb/s and my usualy dl goes to 300kb/s on kazaa. max payne has so many seeders, but so little dl speed. i&#39;m getting 2kb/s

I dont realy get the point of bit torrent.

i mean yeah it stops leechers but ive uploaded 3X as mutch as ive ever downloaded :angry: and thats even if i close the download as soon as ive finished the file.


for example right now heres what the deviance download is up to

"downloaded 25.5mg

uploaded 82.8mg"


and im downloading the other max payne ones to see if theyre faster

"max payne 2 cd1"
"max payne 2 cd2"

both have uploaded 2X as mutch as theyve downloaded.


2.5 meg cable and all i get is a mesely 10k a second <_<


just gotta leave it on over night i suppose.
