if anyone know what a bnc is used for and wants a free one on a stable connection you can join irc.iptorrents.com #bnc and get them from LobbyZ.

You can read up on it here mate - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BNC_%28software%29

It's basically a way of securing the source of your irc connection.

BNC is a good thing when launching DoS!

Edit: I mean I guess, I wouldn't know

public bncs are failure, usually hosted on horrible connections, best to spend a few pennies a day and grab a BNC from http:/xzibition.com, http://ispeeds.net or another respectable shell company for $2/month which will allow you to connect to other places, not just IPTorrents.

Agreed, free ones fail. Others cost pennies, or if you already have a server, install PsyBNC or similar. :)

Or use a IRC server which masks your ident. I can't believe the amount of people that use EFnet for their chans?

Servers like Rizon, P2P-Net, Link-Net etc auto mask your ident. Why doesn't EFnet?

Funniest ident I've seen was something like:

tell.your.mum.to.stop.changing.lipstick.my.dick.is.starting.to.look.like.a.rainbow.net
