especially the part where i had to follow the stupid machine to the index and there is fucking zombies trying to fuck with me.

it's not entertaining, it's scaring and most fucking of all, it's puky.

i've never had motion sickness quite like the one halo gave me.

worst single player compaign ever played.

Its not that bad, LOL i just completed the mission with the robot guiding me to the index, damn zombies everywhere (especially those little s***`s). Playing single-player right now, gonna play multiplayer in about few days when i`ll finsih building my new comp.

I think it's an ok game, but not as good as it was hyped up to be. I thought the section that you have to follow that robot thing to the index totally sucked though as it was !!WAY!! to long and tedious, but the section near the end when your in the Warthog is cool and kind of make's up for that :-)

2.53 ghz pent 4 procssor
64 mb nvidia geforce 4 mx420
512 ram
80 gig hd

i&#39;ll be happy when i was able to find replacement nades and ammos and weapons when i run now and med packs are most helpful

mostly i use alien weapons and nades they kinda kick ass and the plasma nade sticks&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;

if you are good and aim at enemy you can stick the plasma nade onto him and when he runs toward his fightmates guess what? shit flying in every direction... lol

Hey Octo, the reason you are getting choppy graphics is due to your gfx card. A gf 4mx is pretty much a glorified GF 2. You could get a ti4200 or even better an ati 9600 for about 100 US. I think you need at least a GF3 to play smoothly. And chances are, you will have probs with HL2 also. You might look into upgrading.
I would have to recommend against getting a top of the line card, unless you are one of those people who have to have the best of everything. If you want some info on good gfx cards you can go to www.guru3d.com they are good people there, and very knowledgeable. Hope this helps.

EDIT: I just remembered, HL2 is being shipped with ati&#39;s 9800 cards i think. Perhaps you could save up now, and kill 2 birds with one stone.

i thought it was fun to play in singleplayer, the steering for the truck was messed up. Those lil crab things look like there from halflife, headcrabs, a ripoff.
The flood reminded me too of halflife, and the mutated ppl the headcrabs turned them into. I think the game was just a halflife ripoff with some fantasy weapons and trucks and ships. But it was fun.

I can play halo fine. I have a 1.3g duron and a 64mb geforce4 MX440.

Im a bit dissapointed about the game though. The gameplay is pretty good it just gets a little repetetive in some parts.

And also i heard this game was going to have kick ass graphics and lighting and shit like that but i think it looks shit. The models are flat and plain. The textures are not bad though.

I give this game a 4 out of 10.

i just got the demo and played the single player campaign on a p3 800 32mb vid card 384 mb of ram and sb pci 128 with the settings jacked down and it ran pretty smoothly. except when theres more than 8-10 enemys. what r u gonna do when doom 3 comes out.??

on the test machines at work on a similar rig such as urs it looked poor cos of the lag of decent T & L Support

however on our alienware system it ran sweet as and looks alot better than the xbox version

thats cos of ur gfx card aswell only a really high spec pc can run halo high end

plus if u are using a nvidia card it is important to bear in mind that nvidia cards do not have TRUE dx9 support and as halo is one of the first TRUE dx9 games it doesnt run anywhere as good on even the latest nvidia fx cards as it does on a Radeon 9800 pro

it plays well if you configure it to a level similar to what Halo looks like on Xbox. and then it also has options which will become more usable when newer PC hardware comes out. the key word is "options," because they are optional. would you rather that those options not be available at all, just because you can&#39;t use them on your computer right now?
