do i need Cs installed on ma pc if i want to play steam 1.6? i already play it and i have both 1.5 retail and 1.6 steam installed but i dont think that steam needs CS cuz its already 950MB

yes you can play 1.6 without 1.5....they are different installations...

i didnt delete my 1.5 folder yet cuz i still play it :D

it does work because 1.6 is total sepereate game but you do need a VALID cd key and if the cd key was already registered by someone else you will get a email saying you cant use steam because ur cd key is registered by another user
