can you beat my times?

all you have to do is to use a car with the traction control off to do a quarter mile time
then take a shot of the screen and send it in to get it verified

I bet I can, I have a Viper GT metalic silver with 2 green stripes up the middle, I also have every upgrade and best part for it, spent a pretty penny for it, but its worth it. So far its maxed out at 267 MPH :D.

it's harder to get a good quarter time with no traction control than it is to hold a button down... :D

p.s. my speed 12 would kill your viper in a race too... :rolleyes:

it all depends on the gearing really...probably 250mph+, but i&#39;ve not really tested to high speeds...

i think i got it from winning the tuscan cup, but i&#39;m not sure.

didn&#39;t know you could play it online...can you?

Yeah, you can, you just need a PS2 Modem Adapter, go under Arcade and look around, cause I&#39;m for sure you can play online. I just need to buy the modem adapter... ;)

i did a bit of research, i don&#39;t think online play is available in gt3
gt4 will almost definitely have it though...

anyway, i&#39;ve just done a little run in the speed 12, got up to 413 kph (256 mph), and then on exactly the same settings, i popped in a 1:06.523 lap on midfield raceway (a little slow, but i&#39;ve not played in a while)

Ok, you can play online, just go to: Arcade Mode -> i.LINK Battle and thats that.

*BTW, my Viper can still beat your Speed 12 :P

(put up some lap times...i wonder how the speed 12 does actually compare with the Viper)

i&#39;ve just done a few laps on each of the tracks mentioned abpve in the speed 12
i&#39;m not too happy with these times, but i&#39;ll post them anwyay

Midfield 1:03.530
SSR5 (wet) 1:23.716
R246 1:28.196
Apricot Hill 1:14.018

on paper, the Speed 12 should be easily fast enough to beat the Viper (the Speed 12 has a power to weight ratio of 1180bhp/tonne, compared to the Viper&#39;s 830bhp/tonne), however, a lack of front grip lets it down

Alright, I&#39;ll try, but I haven&#39;t played in ages, so I&#39;ll need to pratice, I might get some times up tonight, dunno though. I&#39;m pretty busy playing Metroid Prime and Animal Crossing ;)
