Hello, i have read up some info on KVCD. So i can really burn a 2 hour movie on a 700mb cd-rw?? Will the quality be horrible???

What burning program should i use to burn and what would i burn it as?

Thanks

depending on the source, should be at or better quality than regular vcd, it doesn't look as good playing it on your computer, but 1000 times better on your TV(what its made for)

Do i need to select anything for audio???

Also There is a drop down menu with the following options:

audio extraction
audio coding
prediction
video codeing

Do i click on one of those or what??? It has audio extraction by default.

Muxed means multilplexed joining of video and audio

and the header trick, tricks the dvd player into thinkin the svcd is a regular vcd.

Alrite i tried converting using ACP, the audio seemed to go fine but when it came time to do the video somthing weird started to happen. It would finish and then TMPEG would start up again, this cycle went on for like ten times and then i closed it cause I dont think it was doing it right,

That's ok, it's just predicting the cq to try to get the best quality for the movie with 100CQ being the best but I doubt u will be getting 100

I use nero
pick vcd in the wizard
then fine the mpg on your desktop and drag to the bottom of nero, it will check and kick a error about it not being a standard compliance vcd and give 2 options
you need to pic turn off standard compliance and continue
then just hit burn at the top

Alrite i get the error but i dont get the options, nero says it will auto encode it but i dont want that to happen cause it already is encoded. I am using version 5.5.

some parts are a little pixelated. Is there anything to do to reduce that? If not thats fine, its def viewable.

well you can add your on avisynth scrip to clear up parts
sharpen and such, plus you really need a dvd to get the best KVCD, its just not as good with divx/xvid and the like
YMMV
