from nearly every report I've seen, heard or read about the Hutaree militia group (http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/03/29/michigan.arrests/index.html)

the term "terrorist"

Fox managed it (http://video.foxnews.com/v/4127996/midwest-terror-raids?category_id=86856#/v/4128580/fabulous-fight/?playlist_id=87249)

They stopped being a militia and became a terrorist group

That's because "terrorists" are all Islamic.

These clowns are all just good ole freedom lovin patriots.
Besides, they're a "Christian militia" and everybody knows that Christians aren't terrorists because Jeebus is like, on their side.
Or something.

I'm sure Glen Beck will explain it all to us in due course.

Admittedly it was just one report and it was only the chyron but at least fox used "terror".

And I'll bet it pained them to do so.

Since these morans were only doing exactly what Beck, Limbaugh, Palin, et al. have been exhorting them to do, it will be interesting to see how they spin this.
Since consistency is hardly a virtue of the right, the schizophrenic disconnect necessary to condemn the practitioners of the very philosophies you espouse will not be terribly painful...witness the recent Palin "retard" brouhaha for the script that will be followed.

Their rhetoric has been akin to an endless supply of porn to a sexual predator.

It's not what they say, it's who is listening.

What are you afraid of?

It's just Foxnews, Sarah Palin and a bunch of nutty tea-baggers.

Right?

You've got us out-numbered, don't you?

Don't you?

Yes, back that all up; the Limbaugh, Beck, Palin stuff, too.

Put your kool-aid down and back it up - substantiate it.

The sane have the unstable outnumbered? yes we do.

We have Al qaida outnumbered as well, so they can't be a threat...right?

Just for the record, how would you describe this Hutaree group? Militia freedom fighters or terrorists?

I think you are correct about the unstable part.:)

I'll go with terrorists.

Surprised?

Answer me a question, one that should be easy, given the remove of history:

Would you characterize the American Revolutionaries as terrorists?

Don't be wishy-washy, now; yes or no?

Really?

They were fighting a foreign occupier, so they were freedom fighters. These guys are not fighting an oppressive government.

Do you consider the Iraqis or Afghans fighting US troops in their own land freedom fighters or terrorists. What about the French resistance during WW2?

How about Palestinians?

Was Mandella a terrorist? (Cheney thinks he was)

Do you see a difference between Malcolm X and MLK? Do you see a difference between Malcolm x/the black panthers and other militia groups?

We the people are the US militia. The line gets drawn when the unstable get involved.

I answered your question leaving no room for misinterpretation, and just asked for an answer to mine in an effort to see if you would attempt to qualify it (which you did, and properly, too) into the bargain.

That is all.

You can leave out the other shit.

Don't be wishy-washy, now; yes or no? you can kiss my behind.

I can explain my views, not just put out talking points then be unable to explain them. It wasn't you, but on a thread about us leaving Iraq one person did the "all the terrorists will do is wait us out" line. Asked "then do what?" he wasn't heard from again.

Your fan club is attending, sir:

it is meaningless to anyone with a normal head/rectum arrangement.

In years to come that will be placed alongside great quotes from Gandhi, Churchill or Confucius

Pot, meet kettle.
You've been so enamored of Thomas Sowell that for years now you've featured his writings as your sig...every post of yours is an advertisement for the ass you just kissed.

How is Advocate's appreciation (or deep sarcasm, I can't tell) any different?

Do you even struggle to reconcile your inconsistencies any more or have you given up in despair?
