Yes it is..,

America has the most people killed by fire arms about 11.000 a year right?
The rest of the world is about 300 a year.

That damn gun law!

The thing is..., most Americans are brought up with this "Gun Thing", so they don't know better. But it's fucked up!
Canada is the place to be... seen that and love that part on the movie!
The Netherlands is cool too.. (hahaha) you get caught by just having a knife (imagine that)

Nice post TheFilePirater. ;)

ah I saw that movie and I enjoyed it very much, Mike's last few movies were ok but this one is by far the best.

His New Book (http://www.klboard.ath.cx/index.php?showtopic=72034&view=findpost&p=554910) is already out and hes working on a new movie dealing with Sept 11th

LOL I cracked up on the cartoon spot of where the bullet says "I love my gun, Love my gun" that was funny because some people do use their gun as a sex object! It's unbelieveable to tell you the honest truth.

Other then the cartoon I really was amased to see how violent America (I am from the USA) is :(

Not to mention that some banks even give you a FREE gun if you join their service! It would be funny to see a guy using the same gun that they get to rob their banks!

Now thats a story I would like to hear because I would laugh on how stupid the banks are!

on that north american version of the cover, why does it say it's hilarious? i think who ever gave that comment came from a critic who doesn't want to believe the truth about the gun violence in america, it's really a shame. but it's all good 4 me, i live in canada, eh?! ;)

critics here in America took it to the cleaners. for good reason the asshole who made this movie over fabricated it and turned it into a episiode of As The World Turns. alot of people wanted this movie to not even come out. i haven't watched it, i think he insulted the people who were killed that day by screweing up this movie.

i think michael moore's schtick is played-out though. i liked "Roger & Me" a lot better just because nobody else in the mainstream media had the nerve to say what he was saying in 1989, to point the finger at big corporations and the White House and accuse them of being greedy soulless SOBs.

he just seems to be repeating himself nowadays-- it's too obvious. but any american who thinks he's completely full of shit should be forced to watch "Roger & Me" and see a town fall completely apart when the company they've devoted their lives to just abandons them, and see Ronald Reagan visit the town & tell the unemployed auto-factory workers to go get jobs flipping hamburgers.

Great movie....the best is the K-Mart part...I mean come on that is the best sequence in a movie for the historical relevence...

Now I know that K-Mart may hve been already planning on implementing this policy but...they were able to help speed things up...24 hrs later!!!

Just my op.

Err, no dude he didn't. If you're intelligent, you go around and keep records to prove that everything you say is true. So Mike did, and they are all listed here:

How to Deal with the Lies and the Lying Liars When They Lie about "Bowling for Columbine" (http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/wackoattacko/)

And don't trash it 'till you've seen it. It is a very powerful film.

And remember: If you think that if everyone has a gun, the world will be a safer place, try giving everyone a nuclear weapon and see what happens...

the son of Satan
marilyn manson ain't even a distant relative of Satan. he just saw an opportunity to get famous by reviving that whole freaky androgynous glam thing (like Bowie, Alice Cooper, Twisted Sister, etc) and combining it with modern rock, and it made him a lot of money. nothing wrong with that, but i'm not surprised that he speaks intelligently since he seems to be a pretty shrewd entertainer & businessman.
