Do you reflexively believe them if they are pro the candidate or issue you support or anti the one you don't support?

Do you reflexively disbelieve them if they are pro the candidate or issue you don't support or anti the one you support?

Or do you fact check them?

Would you forward a chain email that you know is false if it was anti the guy or issue you don't support.

Does it make you question your support for a candidate if they run false ads against their opponent?

Be honest now.:whistling

The reason I ask is because elections are upon us and I'm seeing a disturbing amount of outrage over things that just are not true. Not that there has never been outrage over non existent problems, just it appears epidemic right now and appears to be fueled by factually challenged TV ads, chain emails and talking heads.

I read opinion stuff from both sides in an effort to discover views I have not considered.

It is a largely fruitless endeavor, because I've thought of pretty much everything.
