Can someone tell me the best chip for the PS2 in the market, i currently have a really bad one that needs GAMESHARK 2 and can only read CD-R games, im looking for one that runs DVD-R Copies and doesnt need a boot method...
Im buying a New PS2 aswell so can you tell me the version i should buy for the chip you recommend....

Im planning to get mod chip in my ps2 but all the good chips are so expensive.
http://www.modchip.com/ps2/ has some ps2 mod chips that can play anything.

I Wouldn't Reccomend A Mod-Chip...But If You Really Want One Get A Smartchip! www.evolutionmods.com Really Cheap...I Have A Messiah 2 But I Hate Copied Things So I Only Play Originals...Don't Know Why I Even Bought It :blink:

Are there any other websites and Diagrams on how to install them, cuz the ones in http://www.modchip.com/ps2/ are to small....? :rolleyes:

Yeh! Plus I Can't Print Out The Covers And Instruction Booklets Because My Printers Broken :( Not That I Don't Download A Few Rips To Test Some Games Though :)

I would NOT try playing around inside your PS2 unless you really know what you are doing.
I think the Messiah is supposed to be the best, I think V.3 has just been released...
If you want some expert advice, goto www.subterrania.co.za and contact them... They're here in South Africa, so they can't do it for you, but they can give you expert advice.

im planning into buying the MAGIC V, do you think is a good one?
I don't know much about it, it's about $20 cheaper then Messiah, but it's apparently less reliable, especially with PS1 games.
The Messiah plays:
Imports
DVD Copies
CD Copies
